Fireworks at the Forks
There haven’t been Fireworks at the Forks in the past couple of years, but this year it’s back!
More details to come, but there will be a fantastic pyrotechnics show planned for 8pm. You can also anticipate a countdown, live music and DJs inside the market until midnight, where we’ll toast to the new year together.
Dress for the weather and bring your skates, as the ice trails will be open by then.
Top Hats & Tiaras
If you’re wondering what to do for a family-friendly New Year’s Eve activity, check out the Top Hats & Tiaras at the Manitoba Children’s Museum from 11am to 1pm.
There’ll be top hats and tiaras to help everyone look tip top for the occasion, and the whole family can get a photograph to remember this day!
Expect tasty treats and ginger ale toasts, as well as a festive balloon drop at noon. It’ll be filled with family-friendly tunes and activities to celebrate the coming new year.
Kilcona New Year’s Eve Party
Join them for a family friendly, all ages event from 4-6pm. There’ll be hot chocolate, fire, tobogganing, games, food and fun! Tobogganing starts from 4 to 4.30pm at the Kilcona dog park, and fun activities from 4-6pm at the church. Donations are accepted.
New Year’s Eve Galas for Adults Only (18+):
Sorrentos at the Caboto presents a New Year’s Eve Gala
If you’re looking for a classy and elegant way to welcome in a new year, then check out Sorrentos at the Caboto. They are pulling out all the stops for this New Year’s Eve event with a delicious 7-course meal, live music and a DJ afterwards to dance the night away!
There will be complimentary champagne and appetisers upon arrival at 5.30pm, dinner (including prime rib entrees and bottles of wine) at 6.30pm, and a midnight buffet with cappuccino and expresso bar.

Manitoba Indigenous New Year’s Eve Gala at the Convention Centre
Enjoy a Manitoba Indigenous New Year’s Eve Gala at the Convention Centre, featuring Charlie Major, The C-W**d Band, Tracy Bone with the Tribal Road Band!
Enjoy the concert during the gala with a 4-course dinner and a cocktail hour from 4pm. The social starts at 9.30pm, and there will be a silent auction, 50/50, door prizes, champagne and party favours!
Dance the night away with Keith Secola, The Mosquitoz, Fred Mitchell, and Shades of Dawn. Prices start at $150 for Gala (including Social) tickets and $60 for Social Only tickets.
New Year’s Eve Gala at Assiniboia Downs
Head on down to Assiniboia Downs to celebrate New Year’s Eve hosted by CJOB’s Kathy Kennedy!
They’ll serve up a buffet featuring their renowned Prime Rib from 6-9pm, late night lunch and complimentary champagne toast at midnight. Their DJ, music and lights will keep you dancing until 2am.

Tom Cochrane with Jennifer Hanson at Club Regent
Do you want to ring in the new year like a true Manitoban? Then don’t miss checking out Tom Cochrane, legendary Canadian musician and multiple Juno awards winner at the Club Regent from 9pm. He’ll be performing with guest performer Jennifer Hanson, and tickets start from $84.34.
Burton Cummings at Burton Cummings Theatre
Burton Cummings is celebrating his 75th Birthday Bash at his namesake venue, the Burton Cummings Theatre, on Dec 31! Fans will receive a complimentary souvenir lanyard and laminate for being part of Burton’s Birthday Bash. Tickets start at $49.75 and the show starts at 9pm.
Hot and Dirty Dance Party at The Park Theatre
Get ready to groove to funk and soul hits by your favourite artists of that era, featuring Earth Wind & Fire, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Kool, and the Gang and more. There’ll be live entertainment, a special disco number, champagne, food, and a balloon drop. The show starts 9pm and tickets start from $49.99.
Real Love New Year’s Eve at The Good Will Social Club
Real Love Winnipeg is presenting their 6th annual NYE event at The Good Will Social Club. Join them from 9pm to 2am, with live performances and a DJ spinning all night. Tickets are $25 plus fees.
New Year’s Eve EVE at Rudy’s Eat & Drink
It’s been 3 years and this year Rudy’s is bringing back their New Year’s Eve EVE celebration!
Whether you want to spend your NYE with family, avoid trying to catch a cab on NYE, relax on NYE, go to back-to-back events, or just want a guaranteed good time with a mix of R&B and Reggae, this event has got you covered.
Doors open at 10pm on FRIDAY, December 30. Early bird tickets are $25, and regular tickets are $30.
New Year’s Eve Bash at the Osborne Taphouse ft. The Coveralls
Celebrate the new year at the Osborne Taphouse featuring 3 sets of rock and roll hits by crowd favourites The Coveralls!
The event run from 9pm to 2am, and includes champagne and snacks at midnight. Tickets are $15 before fees.
New Year’s Eve at the Croatian Church Hall
Croatian Pavilion “Zagreb” is throwing a New Year’s Eve party for their community, family and friends!
There will be a live music from Tihomir Misic, a full dinner and lots of dancing. Adult tickets are $60, children between 5-12 are $30, and it’s free for children under 5. You can purchase tickets by reaching out to the following people:

New Year’s Eve at the Rec Room
Party with live DJs at the Rec Room and have fun playing games all night! The party starts at 8pm and goes till 2AM. All tickets get 1 hour free gameplay, and VIP tickets get 2 hours. General admission tickets are $39.50 and VIP tickets are $59.50 before fees.
