1. Siam Thai
If you’re looking for truly authentic Thai food, Siam Thai is the place to go.
They are the only Winnipeg restaurant out of ten in all of Canada to have been awarded the “Thai Select Signature” certification by the Royal Thai Government. The chefs at Siam Thai use traditional recipes and the freshest ingredients to deliver consistently delicious dishes.
Be sure to check out their green curry and pad thai, before finishing off your meal with their rum-fried banana with coconut ice cream. You won’t be disappointed!

2. Sukhothai
Located in the heart of Osborne, Sukhothai is one of Winnipeg’s favourites that you’ll regularly hear about if you ask for recommendations about Thai food.
They offer a delicious array of stir-fries, curries and soups that are made with high-quality ingredients. Their service is consistently great with a cosy, relaxing atmosphere.
Check out the lettuce wraps, crab wontons, massaman, and kang phet soup. Your mouth is sure to be happy!

3. Sabai Thai Eatery
If you’re looking for great food and generous portions, you’re going to want to head to Sabai Thai Eatery.
They’re a small family-owned restaurant that serves consistently amazing food at great prices. Almost every dish offers a tofu option, so if you have vegetarian friends, it’s a great go-to.
Make sure to check out their crab rangoon, red curry, and lychee curry duck.

4. Thida’s Thai Restaurant
Located in the heart of downtown Winnipeg, this unassuming shopfront is home to some of the best Thai food you’ll find in Winnipeg.
The only downside is that service can be a hit or miss; sometimes turnaround is super quick, and other times you might be waiting 45 minutes or more to pick up your order. The décor also isn’t the greatest, but let’s face it: That’s not what you go to Thida’s for!
Must-tries on the menu are their Penang curry, Thai spicy wings with peanut sauce and Pad Keeng with pork.

5. Magic Thailand
Delicious food at reasonable prices? Check. Quick service and friendly staff? Check.
Magic Thai Restaurant is a true hidden gem that serves delicious Thai food in a cosy atmosphere. If you’re just ordering a single curry and rice, it can take less than five minutes from ordering to receiving your food!
Don’t forget to let them know your spice level so they can cook your dishes to your liking. Must-try dishes on their menu are the green curry, Massaman curry and pad thai!
